Choosing a name is one of the first things you decide together. This is a place to make it fun.

Keep the names you like, a handful at a time. Invite your partner, and the names you both love show up on their own; everything else stays private until you both agree. When you’re down to a few, run a Showdown, check the full name out loud, and settle it.

Every figure comes from the US Social Security Administration’s public record of baby names, from 1880 to today: all 117,820 names and spellings, not just the top thousand. How the numbers are made explains each one.
